Moelogo - I The EP

British-Nigerian songster Moelogo dropped his sixth EP  "I" on 30 July 2021, with collaborations from the likes of Adekunle Gold, L.A.X, Reekado Banks, Laycon, The Cavemen, Ria Sean, Bella Shmurda, Alpha Ojini, QDot and Krishane.

The 11-track star-studded EP project is the follow up / final instalment to Moelogo's 2020's  "Me" and "Myself" - Trilogy’s EP collection, a mix of Afrobeats & RNB with an AfroPop feel which would definitely create a splendid listening experience, the EP has got some nice club bangers on it and radio friendly jams, the production is super lit, big shout out to the producing teams.

Moelogo has been at the forefront of the UK's Afrobeats/R&B scene for quite some time now, he's been on the major limelight since his 2014's anthem "Baddest" featuring Giggs, which is the song that actually introduced me to Moelogo's music, since then the South London singer/songwriter had done a number of notable collaborations with the likes of Fuse ODG, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Sarkodie, Tion Wayne, Avelino, Wretch 32, Davido, Maleek Berry, Sneakbo, Julz, Ramz, Ms Banks and so on.

He won the "Best Alternative Song" at the 2020 Headies Awards held at Lagos, Nigeria in February 2021.

"Things Fall Apart" is the first track on the EP, an acoustic set up, kicking things off grandly and also showcasing Moelogo's all-round artistry and vocal ability.

"Fontainebleau" featuring Jamaican Pop Artist, Krishane is one of my favourites on this project, a very catchy party starter full of energy and definitely a bop.

"You Sef" featuring L.A.X is what you call a palm wine infused joint, mid tempo, quite serenading and fun to vibe to, Moelogo and L.A.X both did great job on the vocals too.

"Boju Boju" is a political track which addresses political instability and social inequality in Nigeria, thus highlighting the need for the masses to be encouraged to fight for their basic human rights.
