Megan Thee Stallion - "Good News" Album

One of my favourite albums right now,

GOOD NEWS is the debut studio album from American rapper, singer and songwriter, Megan Thee Stallion, released on 20 November with massive collaborations from Beyonce, DaBaby, City Girls, Lil Durk, SZA, Popcaan, Mustard, 2Chainz, Big Sean and Young Thug.

The electrifying 17 track album starts with "Shot Fired" which samples Biggie Smalls 1995 "Who Shot Ya", a very grand intro into the whole album listening experience, the "Savage" rapper is so versatile and energetic on this project, with upbeat tempo throughout the album. Samples on the album also triggers the re-ignition of the hip hop/ rnb music genre and thus paying homage to the likes of Eazy E, Naughty By Nature, Adina Howard, Webbie, Juvenile and Trina, whose past works are exceptionally sampled and blended well on the album.

The lyrically inclined rapper flows galavantly on this impeccable body of work, to me it seems Thee Stallion's overall style in terms of punchlines, her lyricism, energies somehow feels like a total combination of Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and Lil Kim but all in one.

"Don't Rock Me To Sleep" is a very radio friendly song, pop-rock infused track, which I believe would enjoy huge airplays from mainstream radio stations.

If you essentially love hip hop, rnb, rap and trap music, I would recommend you have a listen to this album.
