British Grime MC & Rapper, GHETTS is back with his third studio album titled "Conflict of Interest". This is a very powerful project from the Londoner, 16 major tracks featuring an array of big names in the UK music scene, such as Ed Sheeran, Skepta, Emeli Sande, Dave, Wretch 32, Stormzy, Giggs, Pa Salieu and more.
"Conflict of Interest" showcases Ghetts' lyrical ability as a Grime Master to the highest level, his high level of lyricism is portrayed on this project, the album feels so special and fresh and can also be seen as a display of the UK urban music scene generally, the capability of the UK urban music force, how exciting and buzzing the scene is right now, richly engrossed with massive homegrown super talents.
Of course, there are couple of stand out tracks for me on this album, I had been playing "Skengman" featuring Stormzy on my radio show for the past few weeks, that track kinda gave me an idea of what to expect from "Conflict of Interest", tracks like "Crud" featuring Giggs, "Little Bo Peep" featuring Dave, Hamzaa & Wretch 32 serve as my favourite tunes on the album and on the other hand, we got "10,000 Tears" featuring Ed Sheeran is a very radio friendly tune which would enjoy huge numbers of airplay globally.
A very well composed album, each track blends into the other effortlessly giving the listeners great value for their money/time and more importantly amazing album listening experience.
