British R&B songstress, Ella Mai drops her sophomore LP titled "Heart On My Sleeve" on May 6, 2022 it's the follow up to the soulful singer's self titled 2018's debut album which is widely regarded as one of the most breakthrough R&B albums of all time. "Heart On My Sleeve" boasts guest features from Roddy Ricch, Latto and Lucky Daye. Ella Mai has been described by many as one of the glorified R&B princesses of our time, she sings soulfully and calmingly with heartfelt lyrics throughout this project, amazing vocals, sweet melodies, the collaborations hence a pure R&B album such as this is rare these days, even though there is an hint of pop in the whole project offering, it's still notably an 100 percent R&B material sonically. It feels like listening to the 90s 00s RnB/Soulful - New Jack Swing music with a strong twist of modern r&b/soul/pop influence, the album is very easy to listen to, quite relaxing, chiling and I totally admire Mai's individuality and style when it comes to her overall musicality which makes her stand out from the crowd. This is a very awesome record for all music lovers out there who love fine music, an absolute reflection of the modern era R&B music, so fresh and so clean.
