Straight out of Kampala, Uganda in east - central Africa, EDDY KENZO released his 6th studio album "Made In Africa" on April 30 2021, an exceptional body of work from the "Sitya Loss" crooner, a whopping 21 tracks album with guest appearances from Monique Seka, Kanda Bongo Man, Big Talent Band, Tribe Mark, David Laury, Herbert Skillz, Kokode and Fredo.
"Made In Africa" brings the Africa vibes and rhythms to the listeners, the feel of Africa, vocally and beat wise, what I like about the Ugandan popstar, is that he brings a huge amount of diversity into his music, garnering influences from other parts of Africa such as Congo, Nigeria, Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania and so on, this had been widely reflected from his overall sound, a great blend of Afrobeats, Afropop, Coupe DeCale, Makossa and Dancehall.
This is a full length album, 1 hr 22 minutes duration and I listened to the whole album, it's pretty hard to pick a favourite, as all songs are very unique with a similar vibe and blended well, the whole project just feels so cohesive.
The whole album listening experience is immensely refreshing and absolutely aesthetic to the ears.
