Danny G and The Major 7ths - The Lookout - Album and Instrumentals

Danny G & The Major 7ths unveil a collective instrumentals version of their sophomore "The Lookout" album which was originally released in January 2021 with features from the likes of Fehdah, Zaska, Tolu Makay, Jamel Franklin, Osmojam, Grainne McCarthy, 0phelia, Breezy Ideygoke, King Koko and JusMe. Danny G is one of the founding fathers of the Irish neo-soul while The Major 7ths are are a team of top funk and jazz players, including past or present members of Hozier, Niall Horan, Loah, Fehdah, Mary Coughlan, Zaska, Sive, Ensemble Eriu, Paj, Selk, and LaGracia. Danny G & The Major 7ths have performed at top music festivals all across Ireland, such as Electric Picnic, Body & Soul and music venues like The Whelans, Sugar Club Dublin, The Grand Social, The Bello Bar, Dublin to name but a few. If you hadn't listened to "The Lookout" album in its own entirety, I would highly recommend it and then compliments with the instrumentals version project, the LP is a superb composition of neo-soul, funk, groove, hip hop, soul, pop, r&b, jazz and indeed a quintessential body of work.
