Four time grammy winner and legendary Angélique Kidjo releases her 15th studio album, "Mother Nature" on June 18 2021, a star studded project which emphasises so much on Pan-Africanism and celebration of Africa music as a whole whilst also adjusting and adapting with the changing sounds of Africa music generally.

The album features collaborations with the likes of Sting, Burna Boy, Salif Keita, Indépendance Cha-Cha,Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, Shungudzo, Sampa The Great, EARTHGANG, Blue Lab Beats, Ghetto Boy, -M- , Zeynab & Lionel Loueke, all featured artists/influences on the album cut across the Africa continent, from Zambia to NigeriaZimbabwe to the Benin Republic, Mali to the Ivory Coast and the world at large.

"Mother Nature" symbolically embraces the new generation of African musicians and their new sounds collectively, there's the element of Afrobeat, Afrobeats, Afropop, Afrofusion, RnB, Pop, Funk, Jazz, Soukous and Africa music generally on this album, the traditional sounds and the emerging sounds are now blended together to make a global "World Music" album, the kind of album from an African artist which can be appreciated by a global audience on a mainstream level.

It is safe to say that Angélique Kidjo is one of the major and most influential voices when it comes to Africa music today, with a solid music career spanning over four decades, multi-awards won locally and internationally, Kidjo was also included on BBC 2020's list of the 100 most inspiring and influential women from around the world, her exquisite work speaks for itself.
